The Office of Inclusion upholds institutional excellence by providing educational and leadership opportunities in a safe environment pursuing the work today that creates a diverse, culturally humble and empowered workforce for tomorrow. The office's primary functions include Awareness/Advocacy, Developmental Opportunities, and being the UNMC DEI Epicenter.
Leadership and support involving the development and implementation of policies with senior leaders, and programmatic efforts aim to enhance recruitment & retention, diversity, equity, and inclusion on our campuses and in the surrounding community.
An emphasis is placed on data-driven assessment and evaluation of high-impact strategies, programs, practices, and initiatives which promote equity, access, and inclusivity across UNMC campuses.
