Purpose
Establishes the criteria by which courses may be taken by unclassified students.
Scope
This policy applies to undergraduate students.
Policy
- Students may take up to four nursing courses through the College of Nursing as unclassified students as long as prerequisites are met and space is available. An unclassified student is defined as a student who is not admitted in any UNMC College of Nursing program.
- The following courses are available for unclassified students to take:
- NRSG 301 Foundations in Pathopharmacology I
- NRSG 320 Evidence Based Practice
- Clinical courses may not be taken by unclassified students except NRSG 396: Summer Externship
