Nursing Doctoral Student Organization (NDSO)
A group for Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) graduate nursing students. This group aims to foster collaboration, leadership, scholarship, mentoring, and community in students pursuing a terminal practice- or research-based nursing degree.
National Student Nurse Association (NSNA)
The National Student Nurse Association (NSNA) is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students. With 60,000 members nationwide, NSNA is the voice of the future of the nursing profession. The group in Omaha participates in community service projects and collaborative events with other nursing programs in the area. Monthly lunch meetings include presentations from nurses in a variety of specialties, as well as recruiters who give information on starting your career. Delegates are chosen to represent our campus at the state and national meetings, providing input on healthcare issues facing our nation and world.
