Medical students may audit a course with the approval of both the course instructor and the Dean of the college in which the course is offered. Students must satisfy all prerequisite requirements, and auditing will only be permitted when adequate space and facilities are available. Auditors do not receive academic credit. Auditing clinical clerkships is strictly prohibited.
Phase 1: Students enrolled in other colleges may be permitted to audit Phase 1 lectures within the College of Medicine upon approval by the Phase Director(s). Auditors will not be provided with access to course materials or the course site on Canvas. Instructors may, at their discretion, share selected materials with auditors.
