The purpose of the Certificate in Healthcare Quality Improvement program is to provide healthcare professionals with an academic foundation in quality improvement focusing on system and social influence of quality and safety, the design of quality improvement initiatives, and the implementation and evaluation of improvement initiatives. The online, certificate curriculum is made up of a set of 4 core courses (12 credit hours). A student earning a post-baccalaureate certificate will complete all 4 core courses (12 credit hours). Upon completion of the certificate, students may elect to continue with the Master of Healthcare Delivery Service.
