This policy applies to all Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) students.

Policy Statement

Procedure

Clinical Performance Evaluations:

  1. The evaluation will assess the three domains of learning: cognitive (knowledge), affective (professional behaviors), and psychomotor (technical skills).
  2. The student will receive a minimum of two clinical performance evaluations before the midpoint of the clinical component of the program and a minimum of two per semester.
  3. Clinical instructor feedback will be used in the evaluation process.
