The SEC may impose formal probation in any instance in which academic work and/or professional conduct has been or is unsatisfactory. The performance of students on probation will be reviewed at the end of the probation period as defined by the SEC. Probation may be removed at the discretion of the SEC if improvement in academic and/or professional performance has been demonstrated. Students will not be recommended for graduation while on probation. Probation is a formal notice that will remain a part of the student’s permanent academic record.
