The IGPBS - Biochemistry and Molecular Biology doctoral program is designed to provide a comprehensive knowledge of the biochemistry and molecular biology of living organisms, including the research and training experience necessary for the development of independent investigators.

MD/Ph.D. Curriculum

Upon successful completion of Phase 1 of the College of Medicine curriculum, the requirement for completing IPBS 801, IPBS 802, IPBS 803, BMB 815, and BMB 915 will be waived. Hence, MD/Ph.D. students in IGPBS - Biochemistry & Molecular Biology must complete only the following coursework:
