The Certificate in Health Professions Teaching & Technology offers a variety of courses for both teaching and research interests that will all transfer to the Masters. Students with a focus on education will explore key topics in health professions education, including teaching methodologies, instructional technology, and the science of teaching and learning. Those focusing on research will gain foundational knowledge in health professions education, educational research, and scholarly work in the field.

To earn the certificate, students must complete 12 credit hours. Eligible courses are listed below for each specific track. Students completing the certificate program may elect to continue their studies to earn a Master of Health Professions Teaching & Technology.

Health Educators and Academic Leaders (HEAL) students will substitute the following four seminar courses for one of the three credit courses listed above.
HPTT 876: HEAL seminar series A (1 CR)
HPTT 877: HEAL seminar series B (1 CR)
HPTT 878: HEAL seminar series C (1 CR)
HPTT 879: HEAL seminar series D (1 CR)
